Payment Providers
To make it as easy as possible for your users to pay for your services, Sportyfriends includes a variety of payment options. Firstly, you can let members and guests pay online directly on your website when buying bookings and memberships or when signing up for teams and events. The users register their preferred payment card on their personal profile, and from there they can purchase the services you offer. Payments of memberships and subscriptions can be renewed automatically, so neither the member nor the association need to take any action to allow the member to continue their commitment.
Sportyfriends has two different payment providers for online card payments. QuickPay og Stripe. For European users, we recommend QuickPay as their fees are lower in this region.
MobilePay
Members and guests can pay with MobilePay when doing a booking or signing up for an activity at your club. This includes teams, training sessions and social events, among other things.
Pay with Points
(Flexible Voucher Solution)
You can also allow your users to pay with points. From their personal profile, users can buy points using their payment card. 1 point is equivalent to 1 Euro (or whatever currency you have marked as your preferred one for your club). As an admin, you can create different deals for the purchase of points and thus offer your users discounts. Just like the classic vouchers with 10 bookings, you can for example offer points for 10 bookings for the price of 9 bookings. With points in Sportyfriends it works the same way – it’s just significantly more flexible for you as admin. Points can thus not only be used for bookings, but it can also be applied to purchase a training lesson or to sign up for teams or events.
Furthermore, you can even create different deals for points for your users to buy. For example 500 points for 450 euro and 1000 points for 800 euro. You can choose whether the points have an expiry date of, for example, 1 or 2 years, or whether they are valid forever.
Setup of Payment Solution
When implementing Sportyfriends in your sports club, we help you in the onboarding process with setting up of your preferred payment solution. Once this is done, you can receive and carry out payments online, for example with a Visa card.
Manual Invoicing
If your club or association has special circumstances that make it easier to collect payments by sending invoices manually, you can also choose this option.
Overview of Incoming and Outgoing Payments
Get a full overview of your association’s incoming and outgoing payments. Including a detailed graph of where your income and expenses come from on a monthly basis.
The Bookings tab offers you a detailed overview of bookings made in your center, including information on the price of the booking and who made it.
The Payments tab offers you an overview of where your income comes from. For example, you can filter the payment overview by type such as membership payments, bookings or activities. And you can choose to see a list of payments from the last 3, 6 or 12 months only.
Integration for the User-Friendly Accounting Software, Billy
In Sportyfriends you will find an integration to Billy, which is a user-friendly accounting software developed for small and medium enterprises. Billy has over 100,000 self-employed customers, and through Billy you can, among other things, do invoicing, bookkeeping and the management of your VAT.
If you use another accounting software, you can extract your club’s payments into an Excel file that can be imported into your accounting program.
Payment Refunds
It is up to you as an administrator, whether or not you want to give members and guests the opportunity to cancel a purchase and get their money back. If you give your users this option, you can set up Sportyfriends so that the refund of a payment for e.g. a membership or an activity is done automatically when the user cancels their purchase. This way you avoid the hassle of having to do it manually. If the user cancels his purchase within a deadline chosen by you, the payment is automatically refunded to the payment card originally applied for the purchase.
If you as an admin need to manually refund a payment, this can also be easily done by going to the specific user’s profile in the system’s backend.
